How we are set up
Four decisions that
shape everything else

A fixed fee, not a percentage
A percentage fee pays us more when your project costs more. That is the wrong incentive to hand somebody who is choosing your worktop.

Fourteen projects a year, capped
It is a deliberate ceiling. Past it, the person who drew your plan stops being the person who walks your site, and everything we are good at comes from that not happening.

The constraint is the design
A society that will not let you touch a wall, a lift too small for a worktop, a budget that has to stop somewhere. The interesting work is what you do inside those.

Photographed a year later
Anyone can style a room for one afternoon. We go back after the family has been living in it, and publish that set too.

Twelve people,
by what they do
Named biographies go here once the studio supplies them. Until then, the shape of the team is the honest version: this is who touches your project and at which stage.

How we work
Nothing starts
until the number
is agreed
01
First conversation
A week, usually
We come to the flat, measure nothing, and mostly listen. By the end of it we can tell you a realistic number and whether we are the right studio for the job. No charge, no drawings.
02
Survey and layouts
2 to 3 weeks
A proper measured survey, then two or three layout options. One gets taken forward. This is the only stage where changing your mind is free, so we push you to use it.

Drawings and specification
3 to 5 weeks
Elevations, sections, electrical, lighting, and a written specification naming every material by brand and code. If it is not on this set, it is not in the price.

On site
10 to 18 weeks
Our team, our supervision, weekly photographs whether you ask for them or not. One designer stays with the project from here to the end.

Snagging and handover
2 weeks
We write the snag list ourselves before you see it, close it, and only then invoice the final stage. It is deliberately large enough to be worth coming back for.

Where we work
Mumbai, mostly
We take work across the city and a short drive beyond it. Further than that and the weekly site visit stops being weekly, which is the one thing we will not compromise on.
